How a teaser is actually made

A teaser is not a short highlight. It is a different edit with a different job: stop a thumb. That single difference decides everything about how it is cut.

The first second carries the whole thing. In a highlight you can open on a wide establishing shot and earn attention over fifteen seconds; in a feed you have already lost. So a teaser opens on movement or on a face, the music is chosen for where its transient lands rather than for how it resolves, and the captions are burned in because most of the feed is watched on mute. The aspect ratio is a cutting decision, not an export setting — a vertical crop of a horizontal frame throws away the composition the shooter was paid for, so we recut for the frame you ask for.

It is also the fastest thing we deliver, which matters more here than anywhere else: the teaser is what a couple posts while the wedding is still the thing their friends are talking about. Fourteen days as standard, seven with a rush.

Before You Send the Footage

A teaser starts at $195. It’s a fast, 60-second edit of the day’s best moments, made for social media. The final cost depends on how much footage we work through and any add-ons you choose. You can request a personalized quote anytime, and color grading and licensed music come standard.

No. A teaser is cut to hold attention in a feed, where the first second decides whether the rest is watched. A shortened highlight reads as a highlight missing its ending.

Fourteen days as standard, seven with a rush. Teasers are what couples share first, so the rush is worth it more often here than anywhere else.

Vertical for Instagram Reels and TikTok, square if it also has to sit in a grid, horizontal for a website header. Tell us where it is going and we cut for that, at no difference in price.

Yes. A teaser is priced and cut on its own and does not require us to have made anything else from that wedding.

Sixty seconds is the standard and what nearly everyone orders. Past ninety the feed stops treating it as a teaser and starts treating it as a film it did not choose to watch — at which point you want a highlight.
