How to install Phantom Clone Effect Plugin in Davinci Resolve

Installation of a .drfx File

Locate and Click the .drfx file:

Double-click on the .drfx file to initiate the installation.

Install the Effect

Install the Effect
DaVinci Resolve will prompt you to confirm the installation of the effect.

Locate the Installed Effect

Once installed, the effect will appear in the panel under Effect > Toolbox > Effects > Bride&Groom > Phantom Pro.

Phantom Light Functionalities for DaVinci Resolve

1. Mask Settings

Adjust the mask’s position, softness, border, width, and height.

  • Position: Adjusts the mask’s location.
  • Soft: Controls the softness of the mask edges.
  • Border: Defines the boundary sharpness.
  • Width: Sets the mask’s width.
  • Height: Sets the mask’s height.

2. Phantoms Settings

Adjust the position, size, and angle of the phantom effects.

  • Position: Adjusts the location of the phantoms.

  • Size: Sets the size of the background.

4. Gaussian Blur

Adds blur to the background and adjusts its intensity.

  • On/Off: Toggles the blur effect.
  • Strength: Sets the blur intensity.

5. Duplicate Mask

Configures a duplicate mask for the main object.

  • Position X: Horizontal position adjustment.
  • Position Y: Vertical position adjustment.

  • Width: Sets the width.

Adjusts the duplicate object’s position and appearance.

  • Position X: Horizontal position adjustment.
  • Position Y: Vertical position adjustment.
  • Size: Sets the object’s size.
  • Rotation: Rotates the object.
  • Composite Mode: Blending mode for the duplicate.
  • Gain: Adjusts brightness.
  • Opacity: Controls transparency.
