“Phantom Lite” Functionality for Adobe Premiere Pro
The โPhantom Liteโ graphic template is created in After Effects and saved as a .mogrt file for use in Premiere Pro. This template is a simplified version of the Pro edition, offering reduced functionality. In this version, you have access to 4 Phantoms.
Key Features:
- “Footage” Group
This group is responsible for uploading and configuring video clips using the “Replace from Explorer” option.
Basic settings and a timecode selector are available, allowing you to choose the desired video segment.
Recommendations:
Apply color correction and stabilization (if the footage was shot with motion).
Create a “Nest” with the processed footage and drag it from the “Media Pool” into the “Footage” section, replacing the demo image.
- Primary Template Settings
This section includes blending modes and mask configuration settings.
- “Duplicate Footage” Group
Handles the creation of a duplicate of the main object.
This duplicate is placed above all Phantoms, preventing them from overlapping the main object. Without this mask, all Phantoms may occasionally cover the main object.
- “Footage and Duplicate” Group
Allows you to adjust the position, scale, and rotation of the original video without affecting the Phantoms.
- “All Phantoms” Group
Controls the Scale All Mask and the overall position of the Phantoms within the frame.
- “Phantom Solo” Group
Enables individual editing of each Phantom.
Includes a “Background Effect” feature with a Gaussian Blur effect.
Limitations:
The .mogrt file has restricted functionality, as it does not support keyframe animation directly within Premiere Pro. To use keyframes for advanced animation, youโll need to open the file in After Effects.
